Plateful is a meal planning app for Android. This policy explains, in plain words, what happens to
information when you use it.

Plateful writes your meal plans using an AI model run by Google. That means the details of your request
leave your phone. This policy says exactly what is sent, what comes back, and what stays here.

The short version

Your request is sent to Google to write your plan. How many days and meals, how many people, the
food you like, the food you cannot eat, what is in your kitchen, and meals you have said yes or no to
before.

Your plans stay on your phone. The plans, recipes and shopping lists Plateful writes are kept in the
app’s own storage and are not uploaded to us.

There is no account and no sign-in. You never give us a name, an email address or a password.

No adverts and no crash reporting.

We measure how the app is used, anonymously — which options people pick, whether a plan gets saved,
whether anyone subscribes. Never what you type, and never the foods you cannot eat. See How we measure
usage.

If you flag a meal or recipe, that report is sent to us — see below. It is the only thing you type
that reaches us, and only when you choose to report something.

Plateful is asked for permission before anything is sent, the first time you plan.

If your phone has Google’s on-device AI and you lose signal, Plateful writes the plan on the phone
instead, and says so on the plan.

What is sent when you plan a meal

Each time you ask for a plan or a recipe, Plateful sends Google the details of that request:
